    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Um, military MA don't suck

But the bayonet training does. That's WW2 or WW4 crap.

ANyway, I wonder why people think army combatives/MCMAP etc is somehow substandard or watered down. There is MUCH aliveness right from the get-go and a fresh graduate of BCT could stomp a chunner any day of the week.

(edit) boot camp isn't 1 hour classes btw (end edit)

Yeah? My little sister could stomp a chunner, so you're going to have to do more to convince me

I graduated from Army BCT in August and we did about 4-6 hours of combatives total. I've done more "combatives" oriented technique in a single day of training in BJJ, Muay Thai, Judo, etc than I ever did at BCT.

I've done a little more at my current post, but still, they're substandard. On the other hand, they're not designed to make you deadly in H2H. They're designed to make you semi-functional. AKA give you retard strength.

That seems to be a recurring theme . . . you may want to lurk more and post less until you get the hang of it.

I've read some of his other posts . . . I'm afraid it may be a lost cause.

I'll think about it and get back to you ASAP. Until then, I'll change my mind about crap whenever I want and I'll put said mind changes up on the forums if it contributes to the discussion instead of lurking, whatever that is.

There's the problem . . . you've shown an inability to discern what might contribute to a thread.

Luckily, this thread sucks so I don't mind taking up some space on it to point these things out to you
