    Went to Soca today, the Long Island gracie Barra affiliate. I wouldnt train there. Way to expensive, 230 a month or 180 with a year contract. Maybe if Im a millionaire one day.

    i think i might bight the bullet and go to east meadow or huntington to serra ju jitsu. i think they give law enforcement a break which would help me out big time. just nervous about there being a ton of ppl there because of UF4 and it getting watered down. I have a friend that went there and he says it was great. that extreme muay thai place looks good too. plus i think serra's school is 140 a month.

    have you heard anything good about kioto bjj they have a school in west islip and one in massepequa i believe.

    Yes, Iv'e heard they are too structured and will hold you back as in you learn at their pace, not yours. Example you first learn tech A,B,C in that order and then you have to learn D,E,F. One move per day and limited time spent sparring compared to other LI schools.
