i don't think so gixxer, i havent been to all the Battle of Brooklyn events but i don't recall seeing Tony 'Bee' or any LI teams there. And of the events that i've missed, i didnt see fighters from that or other LI gyms listed on the fight cards. They are more specialized in American Full Contact Rules, but i think they have fought under other rule sets with some success. They put out some good fighters, don't let the American rules thing put you off. I've seen Tony 'Bee' at some other NYC events other that the B.O.B. thing and they can represent. Definately worth checking out for kickboxing instruction.

I'm actually starting kickboxing/boxing classes there on monday, so I'll have to report back to you in a week or so.
I've visited the gym a few times, and talked with some instructors and students. They have nothing but praises. It's really low profile, but good training. Ppl who want to train excel. Filardo has an impressive background, and from what I'm told the arnis background translates well into the boxing/kickboxing training. While talking with Filardo, I got the impression that he would be a pretty serious trainer. He wasn't trying to push or sell anything, which was refreshing. You should try it out one night. It's 20 bucks to attend a class, i think there are classes m/w/f /sa. -
