    "Go To" Combo...

Imagine the scenario: You're rocked (copyright Joe Rogan)... or you've got your opponent in trouble and you're looking to finish... or you've plain run out of ideas. The circumstances might be varied, but your response could be the ingrained combo you always throw as a last resort, finisher, or cos you love it so much.

Mine used to be jab/reverse punch/roundhouse kick, but since the knees gave out it's all hands, all the way : left jab/right straight/left hook/right uppercut. It's a little reckless, but it's been fairly ok for me.

So, what's your go to combo? Is it emergency desperate measures, or stylish finisher? How successful is it?

    Share, please.

Jab - pause Jab Cross body hook-hook (same arm for hooks) and perhaps another hook, opposite arm.

    A bit long, I guess.

You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.

I'd do this but add a knee in there somewhere.

Er...spazz out at about rib level (that's hip level to most people) then overhand right to the head.

    So, L-hook, R- hook, L-hook, overhand right.

It's about the only thing I land on a regular basis. I'd post a clip if Jawdy got of his arse and got the latest UK throwdown vids up :angryfire

    It was Jab/Low Cross/High Lead Hook/Low Cross

These days I'm trying out Jab/Rear Hook/Low Cross/Jab. This hook leaves a half beat gap which is nice when you're dealing with somebody who's learned to time their defense to the jab/cross, so that the hook lands just as they're coming back.
