    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Your go to throw (gi)?

I am curious as to what everyones go to throw is? That one throw you feel totally comfortable with and seem to pull off all the time.

For me it seems lately to be tomoe nage.

I get a good grip with my left hand and then reach down for their leg with my right and when they move the leg back out of my way I come up grap a lapel wiith my right hand and bring my foot up an in their chest and go over.

I am amazed that this seems to work all the time.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

tomoe nage. i'm terrible at it - not being a judoka - but it's too much fun not to try.

and hell, i *did* pull it off (more or less) against my instructor on saturday, which puts it ahead of any other throw or takedown i pretend to know.

osoto gari and o goshi, those are the only to that I can do in randori out of the three I know, third one being seio nage. Osoto Gari works great in my muay thai class once I close the distance.
