As long as they are unmodified and they are wearing safety equipment, it is about as dangerous as paintball. I find that it hurts less than paintballs due to the lower weights. the BB's travel between 180-400fps depending on what the requreiments are at the range you play at, though by default most are shooting around 180fps. I have never broken the skin but gotten welts at shots from about 10feet.

The nice thing is that ammo is cheap, about 10 bucks for 3500 .2g bbs.

When you play, shoot people in the legs. The reason being that most people have less equipment/layers of clothing etc on the legs so they are more likely to feel the bb.
I noticed on the link you gave that they had a metal body kit, I think installing that would be suffcient to allow the use of green gas.

    Depends on the model.

Most of them shoot 3 at a time it seems. I've seen a few that claim to shoot 10.

I think the primary reasoning behind an airsoft shotgun besides coolness is that they are spring loaded and thus relatively cheap compared to an AEG (what we have) and cocking the spring is a natural motion just like a pump action shotgun.

Wheras on other spring loaded guns you might have to cock them in a way thats not really natural for the weapon (IE,, spring loaded mp5's that you cock by pulling the bolt charger)

With spring guns you have to cock them for every shot so cocking your pistol or rifle over and over would probably get annoying, wheras cocking your shotgun for every shot is par for the course.

Nope. I'm a libertarian socialist (thats the polite way of saying Anarchist). We have on occassion shot our oppressors. We reserve the right to do so again.

As far as hating myself, why should I when you wife loves me so much?

Are you joking? Swimming is a healthy activity and kids always have a chance of falling into deep water and drowning.

Are you claiming kids need to know how to shoot from an MP5 because they might get into gunfights on the schoolyard? No wait, that would never happen if kids wouldnt have access to guns, so theres a more simple solution.,,

I suppose parents should teach their kids to inject heroin correctly into their arms aswell, just for safety reasons.

There's no such thing; the two words are a contradiction.

Nice TOYS BTW Anna, these are not guns.
That's the last post here in which you get to express an anti-gun opinion without getting your access to The Armory disabled. Guns are not "Murder Weapons" any more than a claw hammer or machete. They are tools for hunting, self defense, recreation, etc.

No, they should be taught a healthy respect for firearms rather then indoctrinated with a paralyzing fear of them that promotes an aura of mystery.

Well, I am a hunter myself. And I dont remember anyone using an MP5 on a hunting trip...
