it was a good show. there only ended up being 3 mma bouts, but there was a 4-man grappling tournament thrown in there for good measure. in the last (and best) mma fight of the night, some dude from mendez boxing in nyc beat some wrestler guy from long island by unanimous decision.
also, a reporter from the NY Times was there, as was ufc fighter luke cummo.

a link to which article? the NYPRESS article is linked on the first page of the this thread; the NY TIMES article is probably still being written. i have pics, but i don't know how to post them. i have vids, but they're on dvd and i have no clue how to post those, either.
the promoter mentioned there be another one in december or february. he wasn't sure.
