Worst 2 Minutes of airtime ever...
Watching Coleman getting hammered was bad enough. However, bringing his two daughters into the ring and watching them cry hysterically while he tries to reassure them was excruciating. They kept three cameras on Coleman while his two kids were bawling on his shoulders. WTF?
That and they used Nevada State Athletic Commission Rules (UFC rules minus elbows) making it extra crappy. Thank God I didn't pay for it. -

not a bad night of fights imo. a few one-sided beatdowns, like expected.
Thoughts:
The Barnett/Nastula fight was surprising. If only Nastula could learn the secret art of pacing himself. I really thought Barnett would just walk through Nastula. Props to Nastula for a good performance. He manages to hold his own against top fighters, until he gasses of course.
Randleman/Shogun- Ouch. I could feel my legs snapping watching Randleman.
Fedor must be one of those Human/God hybrids like Hercules or Jesus but tougher. I expect a resurrection when he dies. I bet he walks on water too. And Coleman...at 42 he's still pretty tough. Tons of heart.
Lawler/Villasenor- I thought it would be more of a war, but props to Lawler for the quick win.
Butterbean/O'Haire- For the love of God, why?
That's all I remember. Oh, and can we not have an "intermission" I didnt pay 40 bucks to watch people redo commentary on fights I just saw. At least give me more ring card girls if you are going to pad the time. -

They had a twenty minute intermission because they had blocked out a four hour time slot so that they would be able to show all eight fights. The main event guys were likely told that they wouldn’t be going on until a certain time (which is common practice) and because several of the fights had ended fairly quickly they probably weren’t ready to go on yet so they had to kill some time with an intermission.
I imagine they could have gone the UFC route and only shown five of the eight fights on a three hour time slot with twenty minutes of Saw 3 commercials and other miscellaneous filler spread out a minute of two at a time spread out over the three hours.
Personally for the same price ($40) I would rather deal with the possibility of having an intermission thrown in and get to see all of the fights and not have to put up with commercials for Saw, Blade: The Series, Jet Li’s latest movie, Xience etc.
