I don't understand how anyone could think that Monson can't get it to the ground. Sylvia's arms aren't fifteen fucking feet long. Monson makes Sylvia look out of shape.

Haha. Under UFC rules, he wouldn't have to risk getting kicked there either. Monson doesn't strike me as someone who would do a somersault in a fight, though.

I think tim sylvia's stand-up is extremely overrated, it's just his freakish reach against guys who are gunshy to commit that sylvia picks apart. I think a really aggressive wrestler who could pressure sylvia could really take him apart. I think if monson comes out and puts the pressure on, he can beat sylvia. I think if monson comes out gunshy, he'll get KOed.

I actually thought he looked to be in much better shape than he ever has during his last bout with Arlovski.

If he hesitates too much, I don't think Monson will get KOed, just lose to a unanimous decision like Arlovski did.
