i really just wanted to get rid of that "post or be annoyed" message... which seems appropriately related since the art of Kino Mutai seems pretty annoying as well.

i have tried to watch some of his vids in the past...could never really sit through it all
I think he talks too much....add some arrogance in there and he's unbearable

not to mention, i can't stand staring at mullets flapping around

Ah, you're familiar with these sorts of claims. Yeah, there's a serious disconnection between what TRS is billing these videos as, and what is being presented on them. Do you know if they have anything to do with the claims made on them?

For the others, yes, watching that freaking mullet is killing me.

TRS is an interesting topic. Mark Hatmaker(?) who has videotapes with them, claims that their advertising is over the top and they have total control over their copy. Dan Webre does the same and then tells stories about offing someone behind bars so its hard to tell where the lies originate. Any reviews of TRS products you would like to post, good bad, or negative, are always appreciated if you have the tapes or access to the tapes. Personally after Webre I can't motivate myself to spend money knowing what crap I might be in for.

Its also useful to see if the person doing the tape repeats the ad copy on the tape itself which helps indicate their endorsement of the tale.

My instructor is not too fond of TRS either. As has been documented in other systema threads.

creative control is pretty much non-existent from the instructors side of things

btw, i have watched Larry Wicks survival tapes....couldn't get through those either....a coupla decent points made, but otherwise, a waste of time, i'd review it, but i don't think i can torture myself through the 3-4 hours of viewing (don't worry, i didn't pay a dime for it)

Hatmakers stuff, i don't mind. At least his format of demonstrations are very much technique-oriented, and not full of talk that bores u to death.

he's being touted as "the most notorious "cooler" on the planet." I've been a doorman for many years and uh....i have a feeling what i'll see in the vid will righteously piss me off...but i'll reserve the judgement until i watch it.....
