It's a low % technique, use it as part of lockflow. Once your opponents realize you are going for elbow or straight arm bar, they will try to curl it and clasp their hands. Soon as they are trying to curl their arms to avoid -bar, flow into ude garami.

Switch to kesa gatame if you can't hold mount position then try but shouldn't try to switch to kesa gatame when you had a pretty solid mount like in the vid. Even then, try to go from mount to side mount back to mount. If not then try mount to side mount to kesa gatame. -
