How does this mouthpiece work?...

I've only had one other mouthpiece in my entire life. The other one came with instructions. I had to put it in boiled water then bite it. This one however...just came in a plastic bag with no instructions at all. My dad got it for me and didn't ask how it works. Apparently it's suppose to be "One size fits all"...Well, I tried putting it in my mouth and it doesn't fit....Do I have to boil this too? I don't want to ruin it if it's not the type to boil. I plan to return this and get another one myself if I can't get this one to fit.

Yeah, it's the same as a regular single sided, you boil it and bite it. Just make sure to leave the center plastic bit in while you custom fit it, then take it out when you train. If the mouth guard is too long, cut the ends off at the little lines and round them off by melting it with a lighter or something.
