not the first time but definitely the shittiest time ive lost weight. i think i got lazy this time. mental note- just because you can get 2 bags of m&ms at a bargain price is not a good enough reason to eat them day before the weigh in :(
just spent an hour in the gym losing the last kilo (2.2 pounds? i think) which doesnt sound like a lot to you fatties but when you are 5'8 and fighting at 60kg (132 pounds), and usually walk around at 64kg (141 pounds) there isn't a whole lot to lose.
upshot of this is that i am a fucking collosus at this weight and still feel strong. I have to peer down my nose at other people in the weight division who only come up to my knees. maybe this is why no fucker will fight me (I'm 3 for 3 last minute pull outs so far)
Will try and get some pics at the weigh in but if not (and if this guy actually turns up to the fucking fight) ill post teh vid on youtube or something, once i get the dvd

wtf? You're a guy. Guys losing weight is so fucking easy. I hear guys talking about cutting 10lbs in a matter of a couple hours, whereas Kat spent a good 5 hours in the sauna, with a plastic suit, and lost all of 3 or 4lbs.
Anyway, good luck getting someone to show up next time :)

A lot of gyms have them. Just call up various gyms and ask if they have a sauna. They'll usuyally let you drop in for a day for a small fee.

I hate sauna's, I was in the sauna with Kat wearing my bikini and I could hardly stand 10 minutes at a time.

Or, get a plastic suit, and some albolene.
Rub the albolene ALL over your body. Armpits, buttcrack, groin, everywhere.
Put on the plastic suit, you'll break arespectable sweat just standing around.
Me, i normally hardly sweat at all, but I can generally lose about 2 pounds if I work out moderately in a plastic suit with some albolene.
For more extreme measures I use the sauna+ the albolene+ the suit.
If you can drink about a gallon+ of water every day then it will also help your body release water quickly once it's sweat time.

ill keep that in mind next time. i remember my coach telling me about putting on a big black bin bag and running across auckland before a weigh in once, glad i dont live in those days :p

Ten pounds? That’s all? You know you’re really cutting a lot of weight when you run laps in the parking lot the night before a weigh in and you’re thinking, “If a car hits me I won’t have to weigh in. They’ll feed me in the hospital.”
Out of curiosity, how much time do you have between weigh ins and your fight? Back when I was wrestling we had an hour or two between weigh ins and match time. I get the feeling weight cutting strategies might be different.

I am going to a tournament on saturday, I cut weight too soon, and I pigged out for about 2 days straight, now I gotta cut weight one mo-gen...

I'd like to hear your weight cutting strategies.
I often have interesting and informative conversations when I am in the sauna dying in my plastic suit. It's an instant conversational thing with every former wrestler and boxer cause they walk in and see me and know whats up.
It's nice to have someone to talk to to take my mind off the fact that I'm dying, and they usually have good ideas.
