the training the 911 hijackers had was first from an Egyptian national that immigrated to the U.S. back in the 70's who was kicked out of the Egyptian army for being "too radical", the Egyptians warned the U.S. about this but they ignored it and allowed this guy to enlist in the U.S. army and become a member of the Special Forces. Basically this guy became very close to Bin Laden and was asked to set up a training program which included everything from survellience, marksmanship and H2H combat to name a few things. There is a Discovery/History channel documentary on the subject called "Triple Cross: Bin Laden's spy in America" that details the whole thing. As for the guys that took Martial Arts training in South Florida, it's a gym/tanning salon/martial arts school in Hollywood Florida, Friends of mine used to live across the street from the place. If these guys relied on the training from that place to take over the planes, the towers would probably still be standing.

Precisely. It's also amusing because it falls in line with various people's (i.e. members of the third and second worlds') fascination with having "elite" units that really can't do ****, but do lots of really "cool" looking stuff that they probably saw in a movie. It's like someone's kid brother imitating what they see the older brother doing only without purpose and a much higher comedic factor.

That video was seriously badass on an acrobatic level. Those guys might not be able to fight all that well, but you have to give props for the agility and athleticism. Also, the back flip off the instructor dudes leg was pretty pimp. Teach those dudes some submission wrestling and some MT, and they would a force to reckon with.

I somehow can't shake the feeling that the Iranian "elite" women are being taught innefective shitcrap on purpose so that some obscure fundamentalists can reassert their inferiority or something equally whack.
