    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Does anyone here hunt?

What gun do you use and what do you point it at?

I'm considering studying to get a hunting licence myself.

I use a Berretta pump action shotgun when I go shooting birds with my dad. He has a much better gun, a semi-automatic one but he never lets me use it...cheap ass. :qright1: I love both hunting and fishing.

Birds (geese, dove, pheasant) with a Weatherby 12 gauge shotgun (auto). Modified choke. 26 inch barrell I think.

I took a couple deer with a .308 rifle, and one with a lever action 30-30

I took one pig with the 30-30, another with a 12 gauge slug, and another with a knife.

Miscellaneous vermin with a .22 LR rifle.

    Say what now?
You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.

"How many great hunters would be great hunters if the animals had guns?" - Anonymous

Don't get me wrong..I am all in favor of a good deer cull every year. And despite not BEING a hunter I actually have a fair knowledge about how trophy hunting works and the enormous fees that some hunters pay to shoot a ram or a bear. This money, in turn goes into wildlife preservation..I find this bizarre, but somehow I guess it works.
My grandfather used to hunt and he took me out a few times when I was a kid,and I have gone out with my Native buddies a few times over the years just to watch and 'drag' for them. But It's not something I would ever do on a regular basis. I think hunting with a bow is kind of cool, though.
