Birds (geese, dove, pheasant) with a Weatherby 12 gauge shotgun (auto). Modified choke. 26 inch barrell I think.
I took a couple deer with a .308 rifle, and one with a lever action 30-30
I took one pig with the 30-30, another with a 12 gauge slug, and another with a knife.
Miscellaneous vermin with a .22 LR rifle. -
and good morning to you too

"How many great hunters would be great hunters if the animals had guns?" - Anonymous
Don't get me wrong..I am all in favor of a good deer cull every year. And despite not BEING a hunter I actually have a fair knowledge about how trophy hunting works and the enormous fees that some hunters pay to shoot a ram or a bear. This money, in turn goes into wildlife preservation..I find this bizarre, but somehow I guess it works.
My grandfather used to hunt and he took me out a few times when I was a kid,and I have gone out with my Native buddies a few times over the years just to watch and 'drag' for them. But It's not something I would ever do on a regular basis. I think hunting with a bow is kind of cool, though." If one wants to have a friend one must also want to wage war for him: and to wage war one must be capable of being an enemy." - Fr. Nietzsche 'On The Friend' Thus Spake Zarathustra -
