I think they're black leather gloves that have a few ounces of powdered lead in the palm. I remember seeing them in the "Spy Headquarters" catalog a longgg time ago.
I'd say they're probably more along the lines of a fistpack then a SAP. Give you a little extra weight in your strikes and probably make your fist tighter since you've got a little something to hold onto. -

Oh I found them . They seem to do "burn damage" .
http://www.verminary.com/cyberpunk/dragons.htmlBrighter Suns Zap Glove MEL 0 P C 1pt/Stun 10 1 ST
Unlike the Techtronica version, the Brigher Suns zap gloves are black rubber studded with contact electrodes on the palm; they do a point of burn damage, and force a Stun/Shock save at -4 or cause paralysis for 1d10+5 rounds. A fumbled Stun/Shock means heart fibrillations and Death Saves.
I think they should be fine for SD . -

Wow.. I'm totally surprised. I figured you folks like had those in the fourth grade or something.
Anyways Kat was pretty close. Zap or sap gloves are heavy leather gloves that fit and work like regular gloves except that they have a quantity of lead powder stitched into in the knuckles and back of the hand. The powder makes them heavy, adds inertia to your punches and I think it supposed to give them a significant ammount of extra force. The powder is sewn in there in a way similar to the padding in bag gloves and typical mma gloves, but not as puffy.
I am not sure if it's considered a deadly weapon or not, but it sounds like it could work famously. It seems possible that they could help you avoid cutting and splitting your knuckles as well. -

I am sure the viable and effective versions have been around long before Phil as well .

Ok heres the requested link: http://spytechagency.stores.yahoo.net/defsapglov.html
lol "Phil - esque"? Is that by chance a reference to superfag poser Phil Elmore?
Anyways it appears that I got the spelling wrong in the title of my post. The terminology is "Sap" gloves ..... my bad.
They aren't bag gloves so i don't want them for that, and no I don't want them to hit trees with either.
