    Fair enough.
At 15-16 it's the instructors fault for not informing you of the ruleset. Seems his pride got the better of him.

ive also had many fair challenge matches against straight karate guys. where they knew i was a grappler before hand. and most still ended up on their back. clueless as to how to deal with what just happened to them.
EDIT: it's like with most people who are untrained in grappling, I haven't learnt any grappling and every now and then the other student that do grapple get to play with us that don't, I never thought it possible to be schooled in any type of fighting by a 13 year old until i got my first taste of grappling.

    Wait a sec here...
Blue Belt in BJJ in '94 at the age of 15-16? Ok maybe but a little Muay Thai too? I'm thinking Troll or Bullshido. Anti-fu, who was your BJJ instructor, who was his instructor?

Neither of whom come up in google. A non-gracie teaching BJJ in the states in '94? And its not Greg Kukuk or Matt Sera?

Not to throw too much doubt at you after my kendo circle-jerk, but got links?

The ground is the last place you want to be with a gay karate guy.
