    Two things:
    1. Nice Nutriding, I see you read the "common Bullshido conventions" thread in newbietown
    2. Hanblebar Moustaches have a deed of property on your ass because they own you.

    'nuff said.

Anyway, most MA's can be made to "work" with elbow grease, although one can argue if they remain the same martial arts (most striking arts seem to "morph" a few steps toward Muay Thai once you start lots of hard sparring).

    *** EDIT ***

What the **** is wrong with the yt tags???
Read this for flexibility and injury prevention, this, this and this for supplementation, this on grip conditioning, and this on staph. New: On strenght standards, relationships and structural balance. Shoulder problems? Read this.

My crapuous vlog and my blog of training, stuff and crap. NEW: Me, Mrs. Macho and our newborn baby.

New To Weight Training? Get the StrongLifts 5x5 program and Rippetoe's "Starting Strength, 2nd Ed". Wanna build muscle/gain weight? Check this article. My review on Tactical Nutrition here.

t-nation - Dissecting the deadlift. Anatomy and Muscle Balancing Videos.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

I am an isshinryu practicioner (among other styles), and I've been training in it for the last ten years or so. I can tell you that it all depends on the school your with. There are some schools that rival TKD factories, and there are some that train hard and go all out.
It would be very tough to say what type of school your friend trains at without actually seeing a class, or having further info about it.

No sarcasm here, I am actually legitimately interested in seeing your school. Could you post or PM me the website of your school? I would actually like to check it out.

<insert why karate is awesome> fuckin noobie stop asking about "whats martial arts that dont work" all you'll get is opinions from people who are nutriders from various arts or people who have just opinions on either their experiences in that style, or from what they've heard about said style. if you want a real answerm go try it out yourself and stop being stupid.

I enjoy the fact that anyone who practices a particular style and enjoys it is a "nutrider". Everything you listed is what he asked for, opinions about said style. I would do the same if I was a fuckin noobie.
