Oni9, you claim to do the 9 Bujinkan Ryu-Ha, however, you have yet to respond to "How do train in Gikan Ryu, Kumogakure Ryu and Gyokushin Ryu"
    OK I'll bite.
Gikan Ryu is similar to Koto but when cross-stepping instead of being toally laterial it is slightly forward. Gyokushin is 45% forward.
During the Koppojutsu theme (2002 I think) Hatsumi Sensei covered some Gikan and Gyokushin Ryu stuff.
Kumogakure ryu is designed for women and as traditionally they wore tight fitting kimono there is a lot of hopping forward and backward to generate power, from the one class I have done in it.
i as a bujinkan guy do mostly Takagi Yoshin Ryu, Shinden Fudo, And Koto Ryu which is Nagato Sensei's speciality.

I actually seen Gikan Ryu, not a fan, kinda wierd (remember there are people teaching it licensed through akimoto. As for Kumogakure Ryu and Gyokushin Ryu I maintain Hatsumi made them up.

Shinbushi on the UK taikai 1992 Hatsumi had Noguchi show movements from Gikan ryu.

Maybe we should start a thread discussion some techniques and training ideas.

Don't know if you saw it Oni but there was a big thread recently about bujinkan historical legitmacy, and the issue has been discussed in the past. The result of these is that bujinkan linege claims, especially ninjutsu are suspect and are yet to be validated. So while bujinkan does certianly have the most convincing ninja setup so far, it seems that any sods out there looking for ninjutsu have a choice between fake and probably fake. Just letting you know that we don't automaticly assume Hatsumi has the t3h r3al ninj3r. Just thought I'd brief you on that as you're new.

And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".

In all seriousness, is "American Ju Jitsu" somehow copyrighted?
