    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Damm Ninjas.

Today while driving I saw a guy holding a sign that read “ninjas killed my family, need money for kung fu lessons”

I didn’t stop; I should have tried to get him to consider other MAs as well. In my limited research of our area (Seattle), there doesn’t seem to be any decent kung fu schools here. -john

The guy I saw was young, maybe he is your guy’s son. I’ll let him know the ninjas didn’t get them all. -john

An oldie but goodie used throughout the world.

I've seen women begging with that sign too.

What are you defining as "not good?"

There are a number of well-known schools in the Seattle area, and others further south as well. For that matter, if you know where to look, there is quite a bit of good training to be had throughout the Seattle/Sea-Tac/Tacoma/Olympia area.

What have you looked at and found wanting? What are you looking to learn?

Matt I was taking a shot at Kung Fu specifically. The KF schools close to me seem to lack “aliveness” in their training (info I got from members of this board). Although there could be a good (Kung-Fu) school close to the Seattle metro area, I don’t know about them.

I was just trying to make a joke about the guy with the sign, and how he might consider other MAs besides Kung –Fu.

As far as places to train, (MA in general) there seems plenty of descent choices not far from where I live.

BTW I suck at conveying what I want to say in the written word, so I hope this post makes sense. -john
