    Yeah, everything has already been taped. These episodes airing this week were actually taped on August 8. My "hometown howdy" is up on Jeopardy's webpage. I'm not providing a link because I look like a dork in it, but I'm sure you guys can find it yourselves. Steve will be able to confirm that it's actually me.

    Trebek is pretty aloof. He only talks to you when has to, and he's pretty distant most of the time. Makes sense, given how many people have appeared on Jeopardy over the course of his career - no point in making friends with someone if you're never going to see them again. He's pretty friendly to the studio audience, though, - he answers questions from the audience during the commercial breaks.
