Wanderlei Silva was asked what they were making in a interview some time ago. The interviewer said something like "a couple of years ago the top fighters were making 300.000 dollars, is the pay still the same?" And Silva laughed at that and said something like "No, now its a lot more".

So take that as you want.

ya but Silva might mean extra income from sponsorships or spokesperson jobs.

I have no doubt PRIDE pays better, talent follows money and PRIDE is, on the whole, more stacked with talent than the UFC. However, I doubt the midlevel PRIDE guys are really doing that much better than their UFC counterparts.
