Some interesting stuff
There were alot of newaza techniues i saw which were cool. The links to the Universities were all in japanese. Me no rikey, me no reedy japanesy. Perhaps someone could translate them.
The forum link talked mosty about the newaza page. It was still interesting but they were vague about the rules. There was no time limits, the match only ended when "you or opponent gave up by submission or choke sleepering,or holding for 30 seconds."
I still am curious as to what these matches looked or still look like. Does it look like a BJJ tourney or was it somehow different (can't imagine how though)? I am really curious to know if those universities still practice under this rule set and if so, do they acknowledge developments within the submission grappling community with BJJ (aparrently they din;t acknowledge developments with the Kodokan). -
