Well yes, we ARE home to t3h r3al cowboys. Our take is they keep dead cow on our plates.

I'll rephrase this in a way that the less lateral-thinking individuals here can comprehend it. Is there as much of a buy-in to the bujinkan/ninja "OMG INVISIBLE LOL!!!!" bullshit in Japan as there is over here in the land of the rising Japanophile?

England is the home of real knights. By virtue of being english we all know a lot about knights and the most humble window cleaner is able to trace his ancestry to at least one knight. We have real schools of knighthood in England, but they only teach true born and raised englishmen. When we see americans dressing up as knights, we sTHE N-WORD, because we know they will never be authentic knights. Like we have here in England.

The Japanese think Ninjers are LARPing as well.

I don't know if things have changed but when I was in there saying you were a NINJA or training Ninjutsu in Japan may get you the O RLY? Look as you would if someone said they are Royalty in a SCA group.

And TABI are common footwear and not just for ninjers. You could see workers, from construction to a guy work a cart on the street, wear tabi and there isn't nothing to it. In old school traditional settings pretty mucy everyone will be wearing them.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know that about tabi. Are they still common footwear or is it a historical thing?

Or better question: Will he see glints of light in the distance when someone is about to shoot him with a gun, and dodge just in time?

Wait...that was an Aikido story...my bad.
