The only reason to be nervous is if you feel unsure of yourself. If you know your stuff, then it will be no problem. You will pass it and then realize how easy it was.

In the places I've seen, you have to be really really abysmally bad to fail a belt test. If you know your stuff, nothing should go wrong. Shaky knees don't really help your technique, but they are not fatal either.

As for advice, arrive early, if possible go over the techniques or forms or whatever again right before your test (with your test partner if applicable). Breathe deeply.

    Good luck.

Just pay the check and there should be no need to worry about it.

If you are not prepared, there is nothing you can do now. After the test, you will have and idea what further tests will be like and you can adjust your training accordingly. Make speical note of things on the test that aren't covered a lot in class. This is the stuff you should be doing at home.

At my school it is very rare for someone to fail a belt test. This is simply because most people aren't given permission to test if they aren't ready. The test is more of a showcase of my ability to learn and perform as well as the teaching talents of my instructor. I have never honestly worried about "passing the test" only about living up to my expectations.

Checked out the website, and if the school provides what it says it does, it seems you have made a pretty go choice.

    Good Luck.
