    If I remember correctly from what was probably posted here, Japanese kickboxing was started by the KK guy that lost an MT match, then was kicked out by Oyama, then learned Muay Thai.

    American was started by Joe Lewis, I forgot if he was Karate, TKD or TSD, not Joe Louis the boxer,

    Am I right or am I making this up?
