I don't know about that, but usually when a martial arts school gets shutdown, it is after the instructor is arrested for molesting his students.
Gangs of people going around shutting down schools?

Well there are "other reasons" why it happens as well.
You would most likely find examples in newspapers, relating to criminal charges etc, not in the magazines where only the safe, decent and respectable public face of these arts and more importantly people is shown, if they are even shown at all.
