Am I just stupid or what? (Fight Science related)
Don't answer that. Just take a look at this thread
An XMA/TKD guy can outcut the founder of Shinkendo with a japanese sword?
A 35mile per hour collision into a solid wall is no big deal?
Am I off here? I feel like i'm taking crazy pills.

Argh can't read that much nonsence...
I particullarly find funny the fact that the guy keeps saying 'only strength is important in sword cutting' after admiting he doesn't know **** about it...
Don't take this the wrong way ut I would have to answer 'yes you are stupid'...for continuing to argue with these people. What's the point ? They don't know **** and don't want to listen to people who do know...
Arguing with basket cases = stupid, unless you take this as ways to exercices your patience in which case I salute you.Martial Arts is like sex, if you over complicate it with exotic sounding names, theories and principles, you end up fucking yourself in the ass. -Ronin69

But I have to ask do you keep a large suply of PC screens ? because I only read 1 page of that argument and I wanted to hit my screen at each reply from the idiot.
or do you like argue with these people right up to the moment were you have a fight and then procede to demolish the competition?Martial Arts is like sex, if you over complicate it with exotic sounding names, theories and principles, you end up fucking yourself in the ass. -Ronin69

That's the problem with those guys. They are computer geeks who try and talk about fighting in the martial arts as if it where a Physics conference. That whole conversation was bloody silly. All that bullshit about the velocity of a guy cutting you with a sword or some **** like that.
Bottom line: If someone is coming at you with 3 feet of razor sharp steel, you better be highly trained or very good at running. I think even the most experianced fighters would have a hard time taking a blade off someone.Hannibal: The sworn enemy of dishonest politicians, source of entertainment on Bullshido and newly appointed Office Linebacker. He wasn't saying that a blade wasn't dangerous, he was saying that anyone can cut deep with enough strength using the sword like a sledge hammer which is a load of bull !
Someone should tell them to only wear their seatbelts at high speed so that they can get a darwin award in their next 35mph car crash.Martial Arts is like sex, if you over complicate it with exotic sounding names, theories and principles, you end up fucking yourself in the ass. -Ronin69

I think it would be even funnier if they had their seatbelts on and still died somehow. Now that might be a serious competitor for the darwin award.

I have to wonder why you'd want to argue that much with people who will never see your side of the argument. Seems like a very futile effort. Since I'm not familiar with myspace, are there many knowledgeable people posting on the MA's there?
