Nanotechnology is weird as hell. I went to a seminar about it, and my brain still hurts. Apparently objects can change color when they get really small because they are smaller than the wavelengths of light or something like that. Also, when objects crack, the crack is a certain size. Make the object smaller than the crack, and it suddenly can't crack anymore. Weird **** like that.

I wish I could find that article I read the other night about the NASA doing research on hyperspace to join in on this nerd fest. I wasn't really nerdy enough to take anything away from the article anyway, though.

That's okay. My understanding of this article is that I can use a pencil as a phaser gun.
