Home Invaders Beware!
Careless Cons get Clobbered.
Some Home Invaders botched this one, and got brained for their trouble.
The home invaders, all about 19 or 20 and armed with the crowbar and what appeared to be a can of bear spray, led her father around the house, demanding money.
"I think that they finally got that he wasn't going to give them anything, so they started pushing him," Thuyni said.
When one of the men dropped the crowbar, her father picked it up and hit one of the robbers.
Thuyni's mother began screaming for police and the invaders fled.
Thuyni hit the send button on her phone.
A neighbour heard the mother's screams, then saw the robbers running across the street to a vehicle.
One of the thieves probably would have been shot.
Vancouver has recorded more than 30 home invasions this year.
"A lot of home invasions are related to drugs, or else criminals trying to exact revenge or collect some debts," said Vancouver Const. Howard Chow.
"Sometimes criminals will mistakenly go to the wrong home."
Fighting back against robbers isn't necessarily a good idea, Chow said.
"A general rule, not knowing these suspects and what they're capable of, it's always best to comply, let them get their loot, and call the police right afterward."

Too bad they didn't kill the invaiders. It would be good for the gene pool.
