    Bujinkan Ninjutsu Book Burning

I have received great news! As many of the old-timers know, I quit the Bujinkan several years ago. My reasons were identical to why many people quit the Bujinkan such as:

    1) They don't spar.
    2) They don't think physical fitness is important for fighting.
    3) They frown on cross-training in non-Bujinkan styles of fighting.
    4) The ranking system is broken and has filled the upper ranks with unqualified and incompetent instructors with no way to prove who is and isn't worth training with.
    5) Many schools have a cult-like devotion to Dr. Hatsumi and this behavior also extends to the local teacher.

Of course there are exceptions, but generally the above is what you'll find in Bujinkan training at most schools.

Recently I received a note from my former BJK instructor (a person I actually like in the organization). He informed me that he has quit the Bujinkan too! On top of this he also decided to burn all of his instruction books/videos to ensure nobody else would be subject to the sham that is the Bujinkan. In honor of his decision I told him I'd take all of my old Bujinkan books/instruction materials and burn them too. This was probably a dozen plus books including one signed by Hatsumi himself with a "Nin" symbol. I am posting the pictures here for your enjoyment.

    No way! Man that's hard.

Your capitalist pig thinking has faltered. You could have sold that autographed copy on e-bay for who knows how much. I heard some fools were offering $400 for an original "NInja Village of the Cold Moon" from Hayes.

Why not just optimize the process and set the $400 on fire?

Is that even relevant, considering how obviously BS the bujinkan is?

The burning of books gives me the creeps though.
