Coming from someone with Kakashi as his avatar just gives me nightmares about where this thread is going.

So may I ask WHY you want to worry about your speed?
May Zeus help you if you say it's because you can't get your dragon breath-jutsu right and you think it's because of your slow hand signs.

i'll make you think fucking stupid.
Clap hands push ups. Pardon me for being an ignorant noob but what is DDR?
Since this is the Martial Arts BS forum, I will reply as appropriate: (ahem)
I work on chi cleansing through meditation and channeling spirits of ancestral warriors. To be fast, you must embrace the slow. Only by learning to be slower can you gain the faster.
Or as Seraphim suggested, go visit Strikestan.
Nevermind. He should have asked in newbietown.

You also apparently are worried about HAND dexterity only, unless you plan on dazzling peopled with feats of finger related agility, I would work on all around agility, to which their are many drills, which are easy to find.
Example, going into strikestan and using the SEARCH function or the phyiscal training forum and repeating the same process.
orrrr for the everyman who doesn't have access to Bullshido.
GOOGLE is a great tool.
Also as a last bone of contention
That last post of yours due to a lack of any sort of structure or good english implies that you are infact not insulting me.
(that would be, for your future reference, "I'll make you think, because you're fucking stupid." or the like)
You in fact stated that you are going to make me think very fucking stupidly.
Which, you have infact succeeded in doing,
that must be because your awesome fucking Confuse people on the internet-jutsu is working.
In relation to that, I seriously doubt it.

I've known a few people who do DDR on a hardcore basis. It doesn't really help over all dexterity, because it isn't random, the only way to get good at the game is to memorize the patterns so that you can get the timing right. It will increase your leg dexterity for those specific steps. It how ever does not benefit you in the long run, let alone a situation where you would need to be able to call upon all around reflexes.
I like you for that answer. Clap hands push ups FTW bitches.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris
