    Dips after overhead press

    I'll likely be switching to the MMA class at my gym instead of just BJJ, so that messes up my weight schedule a bit. Normally I'd lift on Saturday and Wednesday, but since MMA will be on Wed, I'll have to figure something else out. For now, though, my question is:

    I did deadlifts, overhead press, and pull ups yesterday, will do BJJ today, can I do dips tomorrow?

    Dips hit shoulders and triceps just like overhead presses.

    See how sore you are. If you chest is sore -it's ok. If the shoulders or tricpes, I would not go crazy with dips.

    I hit everything 4-5 times a week. Waving intensity and using different exercises is the key to avoiding burnout.
