Yeah, I'm a little unclear of how the scam artist makes money (I'm not very good with financial matters). The cash flow is incoming, right? Not outgoing? They pay you, not the other way around? How does the money order forgery work, and how will the scam artist take advantage of that? Hack into the account and take it all?

Sounds like a new market for the overpaid-cheque fraud.
They send a cheque or money-order, but it is for an amount much higher than the agreed-upon cost.
They ask you to deposit the cheque, and send them the difference.
Later, the bank will get back to you and tell you that it's a fake. The bank takes the money back out of your account, and you're on the hook for whatever you sent the scammer, as well as anything you spent out of that money.
For a while this was being done almost exclusively with items on eBay, although it is often done with apartments too ("my son will be attending college in your area, and I wish to rent the apartment you advertised"). -

Scams are brilliant.
Go into a shop and ask for change for a £20.
She will give you a 10 a 5 and 5 1's
then say '' oh i got this change here in my pocket aswell'' this is the money she just gave u
take 9 pound out and ask for a 10 due to a head **** situtaion she will give it to you then quickly pocket the 10.
Next say "wait i did not give u 10, count it" and she will put the money down on the counter and count it to nine
so you then say "hey if i give you one plus 10 can i get a £20''
due to the confusion this always works and you walk out with a extra tenner,
Becarfull off this scam and do not do it for stealing is a sin ... have a nice day=))
p.s - i know all scams quite simpley from my past and do not believ in stealing at all now. "It is wrong, Wrong, wroooong"- eric cartman -
i keep tryin to spar, but nothin happens!
