    Hell yeah! Hell no!

lol, MAP Has Me Tachy'd. Are you Tachy'd?

"Tachy Goes To Coventry" is a feature of vBulletin (the base for our current forum software) that makes all posts by a certain user invisible to other users, but visible to him or her. The purpose of this is to deal with people who have way too much time on their hands, for whom banning would only encourage them more. (For example, we've had to add KFDW to our list because he went apeshit a few months back).

But for some reason, MAP has me of all people, Tachy'd. Whether it was from before, or in response to me posting something to their forum yesterday, either way it cracks me up.

Backstory: as you'll see, I came across a post mentioning us/me over there, from a few months ago, and replied to it, yesterday. It was a polite response, well within MAP's rules.

KickChick just has centipedes in her vagina.

Anyway, here's my post, which I can see when I'm logged in. Note that it is post #60:

So, have they Tachy'd you? :icon_salu

Maybe if you temporarily wife swapped with Kickchick's husband you could resolve this problem. I'm sure he'd love to have someone take her off his hands. Take one for the team boss!

Who's married to that bag of rotten pork?

Not in a million years. Besides, there's only one man on the planet that can handle my wife, and she married him.

Mods and above can see tachy'd posts. They show up just like anyone who's on ignore to them, with the message "The administrator has decided <username> needs to be quiet for a while."

My ex-wife had more issues than National Geographic. My current wife rocks.

I guess the funniest thing about this is that they apparently feel either I, or my words, are so much of a threat to their way of thinking that 17 posts need to disappear quietly.

They can read it, just like you can read the post of anyone you have on ignore... you just have to click another link to see the post.

Incidently we put KFDW on tachy after about 400 of his posts in which he went after Phrost. Later on another board he didn't even bother to deny 1) that he had made this many posts and 2) that such posts would have gotten him banned on any other board after a weekend let alone eight or so months.

Yeah, that's why I don't feel bad about it.

And if you factor in his ducking of the MMA fight challenge (probably to go train furiously in BJJ), it's even more telling.

I tried to encourage him openly and behind the scenes to just shut the **** up and throw some hands . I was so hoping for hot Kung Fu vs AJJ action but NO ... he had to ***** out .

I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out.

The ironic thing is that Phrost's avatar still has "Valued Member" underneath it.

MAP really is a bunch of touchy-feely jackasses.
