shovel hook low and slow and bring the other hand over and down on the top of his head. use your weak hand for his head, its a fake. he'll try to hook you in ur body so keep your shovelhooking hand across the opposite side instead of returning to guard. viola, you should then be in a funky sideways tachi and your opponent will be on the canvas from the stomach pain
and if the ref says a damn thing about a feint to the head just use dim mak
in kyokushin they try to crack each other's collarbones.Last edited by Nosurrender; 10/28/2006 3:27pm at .

You haven't made it clear what the goal of your FC is. Is it a competition or a smackdown? Don't forget pain hurts, and your defensive technique is paramount. Don't think knowing what to hit is enough. I've had enough injuries from contact in sparring to now be focussing on cover, evasion and proper timing in my counters, as well as basic conditioning and technique, for the next two years!
Tough fighter short career, smart fighter long career. You younger guys think you are invincible and give poor regard to defence, but it all catches up on you when you are older. Believe me, you will be older and sore one day.
