    If you look over the SCARS website (www.scars.com) you will find numerous criticisms of asian martial arts and the "oriental" bullshit that they try to teach as a self defense system, that they are hardly effective and a SCARS newbie could tear through a Kung Fu master. The site also repeatedly denies that SCARS is at all influenced, or ripped off of, Kung Fu San Soo.

    Why is it then, that it seems Jerry Peterson trained so much in San Soo, as is proven by this excerpt from an interview with Kung Fu San Soo Master Bill Hulsey:

    "I have noticed that Jerry Petersons SCARS system is very similar to San Soo in many ways. Is SCARS and San Soo one in the same? LS, Chicago, IL

    Bill Hulsey answers: I promoted Jerry Peterson, founder of the SCARS system, to black belt in San Soo right here in Bellflower, Ca. He is also a personal friend of mine. He went on to recieve his masters degree from Jimmy H. Woo. That is why similarities exist. Whenever Kung Fu San Soo is changed or modified it can no longer be called Kung Fu San Soo."

    For the entire interview, go here: http://www.sansoo.com/qanda.html

    I know that I posted this within another thread, but I wanted to give Kungfools an opportunity to explain.

    "Training = pain." - I said that.

    PizDoff when drunk: "I'm actually MOST pissed that my target for the evening got drink...then I gave her my Bullshido Canada hoodie like a gentleman because she was outside with not much on...did I mention she barfed twice when I got our jackets...steaming barf is kinda fascinating..." - PizDoff.

    kungfoolss the post whore?

    Craig, however do you mean? What's wrong with responding to all those fabulous threads? I just hope nothing ever happens to them all, I'd like to contribute my views to each and every one of them daily here at the General Discussion section of Bullshido.

    Except the fact when somebody asks a legit question you immediately go into double talk and avoid the answer. You parade around as the most feared man on bullshido when everybody knows its probably Jamoke who holds that proud title....ew. That sounds like a good subject.

    Go away I'm talking to myself

    Kungfoolss, what made you decide to take up the SCARS system? What do you like about it, and why? Did you learn from tapes or from an instructor? Did your instructor learn from tapes? And so forth.
    What are the primary benefits of SCARS, as compared to other systems (specifics please)?

    Kungfools likes to place in his sig that he's the most feared man on Bullshido. I don't think so but it brings up a good question who is the most feared on the site?
    How can there be any doubt? (Chuckles)
