Tiger Klay's Krav Maga/BJJ/NHB: Bullshido Resume?

Let's get our facts straight. Tiger Clay's instructor is named L. Klay L'Onis. This is the person laying claim to all the titles, awards, accolades etc. and who happens to be a rather large individual. According to Mr. Clay's website, he is the primary instructor at Tiger Clay's Mid-Cities Krav Maga in Bedford, Tx.

An excerpt from Mr. Clay's website regarding Mr. L'Onis' bio:

Through the years, Sensei L'Onis has studied various forms of Martial Arts, beginning with a militaristic form of self defense and fighting and then later being enrolled in an Olympic Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido school. While continuing with his training, he then left the Olympic persuasion of Tae Kwon Do to study American Karate (Tae Kwon Do-Chung Do Kwan), where he was seen even at a very young age to be a stand out amongst all competitors. After American Karate, Sensei L'Onis continued to study under Renshi Ron Risce in a realistic form of self defense and fighting. He found that he had great interest in many methods of fighting and self-defense such as Sim-Do, Kenpo, Dai-Ichi Shotokan, Combat methodology Hapkido, Muay Thai and American Kickboxing, Judo, Sambo, Ju-Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Fighting, and last, but certainly not least, Krav Maga and Haganah Israeli Self Defense systems.

As MMA and grappling become bigger this is going to happen more and more. People with no credentials sill simply slap it onto there long list of bullshit claims.

This pic lends credibility to at least him competeing in MMA. His claims still look dubious but this looks like MMA gloves and clearly striking is involved.

Are we sure that is even him?

I would imagine there are more photos of his illustrious MMA/NHB career if he was the coach of a team.

Sensei McSorley has been inducted into the US National Martial Arts Hall of Fame five times: Woman of the Year (2001), Female Master of the Year (2002), Head Founder of the Year (2003), Chaplain of the Year (2004) and as the first female Pioneer Award Recipient (2005).

again why would a martial arts hall of fame give an award for chaplain of the year?!?!?

Looks like he was inducted into a Christian martial arts hall of fame.

Why does it seem that Christianity and bullshido go hand in hand?

I would like to know who is this NHB team he is coaching and who sanctions them.

Also, FCF database doesn't have anything on him (or his cronies), and FCF covers both amateur and pro fighters.

On that note, I think his pic is BS

I'm 6'3" and the ropes are not even chest high on me (i have fought in different size rings). If he is 6'7", why do those rings come up to his opponents shoulders? Maybe the angle is funny, maybe the ropes are higher than most, and maybe his opponent is only 5' 8" (but at that height and his weight of 289, these guys do not look like HW's, SHW's, or even LHW's).

Further, he seems to be a jack of all trades, yet a master of none. This is of course a recurring theme in the world of Bullshido. Ask him what his actual black belts are, since he likes to call himself Sensei
