I train in a Machado BJJ school. $130 a month, I can attend gi, no-gi, judo, and boxing classes anytime I want.

The prices for the gym you're training in seems a bit much.

BJJ is expensive in US.. We pay around 330€ per year (more if you per month at a time) for unlimited BJJ classes at an Alliance affiliate. Granted we have no black belts hanging around all the time, but we have up to month long seminars by guys like Michael Langhi and Lucas Lepri regularly.
Curiosity killed the cat. But damn it had a blast.

If the school has many paying students then they aren't charging too much. End of story.

Let's address the Canadian with poor reading comprehension:
the middle of fucking nowhere, Canada
is NOT the same as Vancouver and Toronto

Maybe relax your oversensitivity to criticism of your country. You'd think if it was so great Canadians wouldn't fly off the handle every time they think anyone criticizes their government or country.

Montreal has world class schools teaching world class BJJ, Boxing, MMA, and even Karate (GSP!!!), rest of the Canada has....geese, and bad food?

I will concurr however that it is indeed expensive to train in them, but this is offset with free health care, and the lowest tuition rates in the country for Uni and college.

    dumb ass.
No ****, you lived in Toronto. That's pretty much the apex of our country. Everything else, save perhaps Montreal, Ottawa, and Vancouver are in the middle of buttfuck nowhere with generally little to do.

I cannot wait to leave this country, god damn.

P.S. Canada Post can go **** itself.

This is where we bring the Montreal vs Quebec City rivalry?

I live in Lévis. There is no BJJ. A town of 130k and we don't even have one BJJ club. We do have a fucking whole lot of Villari's though.

I'd kill for a BJJ only school. Sure, I love judo and my judo club, but I'd gladly take BJJ as well if it were available.

    - uh No.

It is where, if you did BJJ you could talk about how much you pay, but as you don't but said you would kill for a BJJ club- I guess they could take you for all they could.
