Its been too much of the same mindless Kung Fu and Chi crap going on around here. You NEED good discussion like this. Its good for you.
So lets have it:
Is ABORTION morally wrong and should it be against the law?

Not if you get to eat the aborted fetus with some fava beans and chianti.

Hmm.. Although ultimately it is up to the mother, to me it does seem sad to take away a life like that. I have an off topic question for you peedee though. I think I read in an older post you trained in a karate/grappling system. Is that true, and if it isn't can you tell me what you are currently training in now? Sorry if that question has been asked a million times already.

Wow, a whole two messages before we reverted to martial arts...LOL!
Until the fetus is capable of sustaining life on it's own, it's not an individual. It is a parasite. It contributes nothing but feeds off it's host (mother). The world has enough population issues, it doesn't need to keep unwanted, improperly raised or unloved children developing into fucked up adults.

I want a pair of Fetus-chucks. Hmmmm...maybe I'll just get some glow chucks and make some fetus covers for them. Then I'll have alien baby chucks.
that would be cool.
Shut up and train

Abortion is only wrong if we don't put the fetus to good use. For example, the hooves the of the fetus can be melted into glue, while its hide can be used to make excellent insulation in our wigwams.

I don't think that a woman, having consentually engaged in unprotected sex and knowledgeable of the resultant likelihood, should allow herself to choose to end a pregnancy because of a burden for which she is unwilling to accept responsibility. In circumstances of rape, danger to the mother, danger to the child even, fine, if she so chooses.
But if she has unprotected sex, discovers her pregancy, then decides she's not ready for a child, there are better ways to deal with it than ending the life of the child. I think that from conception to birth, if as long as all other circumstances are static that a human will be born, then it is still 'ending a life' if the pregnancy is terminated even in an early stage.
Of course, I don't think it should be illegal, I think it should be a matter of choice. Women will decide for themselves, some will give birth to children and raise them or entrust them to others, other women may choose not to do so, as is their right. After all, it's no skin off our backs; we're all here, aren't we?"The morning glory blooms for an hour. It differs not at heart from the giant pine, which lives for a thousand years."
