No problem. I love this Dojo and I like explaining things about it.
I have been in MA now for about 9 years, and this is the best one I have been at by far. This includes a tough TKD school, two WT schools, and a Machado Jiu-Jitsu school (I say better than the Machado school based on the different classes and facilities available at this one)
Yes the training with Shooto and BJJ is almost 100% sparring based, with short breaks for introducing new techniques. The BJJ class is with Gi, so you could probably call it sport based, but the instructor points out what things would be useful in the street or the Shooto class. The Shooto class is incredibly tough and what I consider reality based. Check out Deus's thread on his first Shooto class if you want to know more about the style. His instructor, Paulsen, taught mine. I personally run 5 miles three times a week, with some extra sprints. But at the end of class, I get pushed so hard that myself and the other students can barely stand. I usually need about a half hour to get back to working order.
I don't know about the kids classes though, since I never saw any.
If you read the beginning of the thread, you will see what I pay a month. Pretty affordable I think, but I don't have any hard facts like the average income of the people who train there. Most of the people in the Shooto or BJJ classes are 18 - 30 though, with a fair number of students.
Welcome to Bullshido btw . . .

Thanks for clearing that up, it sounds like an all around great place. Why the two WT schools? Do they have different focuses?
A combination of two things -
1. I moved
2. I switched WT organizations
Would post some pics if I had them ... let's see what I can do, I'm supposed to get my digital camera next week.
