Making any knife illegal is unbelievably stupid, seeing as you can walk into a store and buy a 7" razor sharp kitchen knife whenever you want.

Next week maybe we can ban scissors.

Scissors ARE banned in airplanes, along with a lot of other things.

Which I totally agree with, that's logical.

However, banning one thing, and not another which is identical is pretty stupid, and a waste of time.

not all butterfly knives are illegal...there are one sided and double sided....in some states i think there is a difference

Here in Mexico if you carry a knife the police may take it from you, but not because they're illegal, but just because if it's a pretty knife, they'll keep it...
