It's a fun trilogy, but I'd say it's consensus in the CMA community that most of the books are fictionalized.
Whether or not he's martially skilled, I don't know. IIRC, he teaches somewhere in the Boston area.

I'm not sure when the substance was produced. It had some long chemical name too it. I'm not sure what exactly it is used for in industry. U.S. intelligence was alrmed that it might be used as some sort of carrier with chemical warfare or biological agents. According to the article its the finest substance ever produced and is only manufactor in France. It said something like it can penetrate clothing and all sorts of other materials because it simply slips pass the fibers. Although theres no evidence that this substance was used by the Iraqi for chem/bio weopns. I just thought it was interesting.

Nah, that's OK Freddy, I wasn't insulted in any way if that's what you thought, but I don't believe many things easily... It's a good thing to remember that there's at least as much 'bullshido' in almost everything else as there is in MA.
There are a lot of different kinds of magazines & a lot of different kinds of people write for them, etc...
& It's quite possible that there is SOME truth in that stuff too, but seeing what is going on now, it's at least exaggerated quite a bit. -

OK...wrong fucking message board. This site is about destroying bullshit in the Martial Arts world...not furthering is's spreading.
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.
