dRoy, you gotta look at the post dates. Necro-ing a thread (posting on a thread that has had no activity in a while) is generally frowned upon on most forums. This might be the greatest act of necromancy I have ever seen though, so you must be a master Lich.
Edit: **** I just revived it again, I knew it was to soon to leave newbietown -

We got a lot, actually. Though the division of martial arts are like this:
Arnis/Eskrima/Kali: 20%
Karate: 20%
Boxing/Muay Thai: 30%
TKD: 20%
Judo/BJJ: 10%
*There's some Korean sword and kendo schools, though very rare.
*There aren't many people active in the different martial arts, which is a shame. I'd say about 5% of the population does it. -

I live just outside of Sarnia, Ontario. Not many schools around here.
As for the styles:
TKD: 3
Seikido: 1
Karate: 2 or 3
Places that teach about multiple arts: 4
Tai Chi: 2
MMA schools: only ever heard of 1
As for the amount of people who train in my community, I'm not sure many do besides kids; outside of my school I've only met a select few.
As for uncommon arts, well.. I'm in the only uncommon art as far as I know, unless White Crane kung fu is (listed under places that teach multiple arts) -

It's quite an eye opener to use Google Maps to check the MA schools around here. An interesting mix of a few very legit gyms mixed in with all sorts of mad bastards teaching "street combat systems" and the like.
Nottingham for some reason seems to have a rich vein of kickboxing running through it - there's a large number of kb gyms with former world/national champions from ISKA/WAKO etc. It hosts one of Europe's most successful teams, Team Top Ten UK, from whence Michael Page used to operate. Its most famous MMA fighters, Dan Hardy and Paul Daley were both involved in that scene too I gather. Despite all of that I've managed to not attend a single out-and-out kickboxing class during my time down here  -
