Anyone Train With Weapons?

You guys ever see a model of nunchaku that hides itself? Yeah, one guy in high school brought it with him...he was pretty dumb but yeah, I saw it on the bus so he was already on way home so he wouldn't have been caught. Anyway, it's actually hard to spot. It uses that twisting technology so when you face the 2 chained ends together they can twist together and lock, making it look like an art project or something. It is very heavy though.

Used to do staff and broadsword with Kung Fu, both Wushu and Praying Mantis.

With Pencak Silat, we use staffs and trisula's, or Sai as they're called in Japanese. Highly illegal to carry aroudn though.

I have a Katana at home as well, but that one's just for decorating my room. It's so ridiculously sharp, I don't even want to practice with it :)

Oh sweet jesus, I've trained with swords, knives, sticks, chain whips, kwandaos, nunchaku, sais, spears, staves, and more. I never really liked the weapons training though, so in general I'm not anywhere near as good with them as I am empty handed. Exceptions to this are my espada y daga technique, and my spear technique.

Rokshaku bo, hanbo, bokken, shin-ken, kasari fundo, a littlejutte work, lots of tanto work, defensive and aggressive, so thats dull weapons long short, sharp weapons long short, and flexable weapons, covers all bases nicly!

Nunchucks are cool as hell to watch but are they effective weapons or rather are they bette than just a plain old stick?
