I'd like to introduce everybody to an unknown martial art - Shastar Vidiya. I must stress that I make no claims whatsoever to its effectiveness in any regard; I'm merely showing it for everyone to analyze objectively on their own. However, before you begin attacking it, I should recommend that you read the site in its entirety, for various reasons. Enjoy :)...

Were these people considered the warrior class of India? Were you born into it like the Samurai were born into their rolls?

That was a reasonable question BigBang. Surely the Son of a Lion would not be intimidated over the Internet.

Holy **** someone has issues. In what way was that immature? And the whole point of a question is to dispell ignorance. Jesus what a fucktard.

    BIGBANG,

What was immature about my question? I was very serious in what I asked. If you can't answer it then just say I don't know. To be in the warrior class in Japan you were born into it. I have heard similar things about that in India. Since India was based on a Caste society I was wondering if that was the only way to learn this system.

I've seen a group of Sikhs demonstrating their martial art. Those guys are badass.

Man, that "immature" comment came from nowhere. Migu's probably more mature than most of us here.

You think this guy will ever be back?

    BIGBANGSingh et al,

I posted a rather rude comment right after BBS posted, then deleted the post upon quiet reflection, realizing that it was unwarranted and quite inflammatory. He was directing his comment to me, but seeing as my post was no longer there, it was taken out of context. I apologize for any misunderstanding. Peace out.

Ahhhh....Ok...Thanks for clearing that up Deus.

A friend of mine who is really into the Indian culture, was telling me that those who wore the turbins or whatever they call them were considered the warriors of India and were indeed not someone to mess with. That is what prompted my question. The majority of us either think of Gandhi or Apoo of Simpsons when thinking of the India culture. So it is interesting to see some of their warrior arts posted receently.
