I agree. I think its just rumor. No way UFC could afford him. Pride is really the only organization that could afford him.

Does Eric ever answer his emails? I want to bring him to Australia for seminars. I know he loves it here :P

As far as I know, I've never had any luck e-mailing him...ever. If you want to PM me your contact info and credentials or whatever, I'll pass it along to Erik.

It'll be over with one punch from tyson.
Boyd, the above quote is why we're not hypocritical about punching someone in the head when he tries to shoot. You see, Tyson actually CAN knock you the **** out with one punch. He's done it bunches of times. There's just not that many people around with true one-punch KO power, but tysons one of them. I'd say the leg kicks are a bigger threat for him. I wouldn't be surprised of he learns to wrestle pretty damn fast. Have you seen that guys neck lately? He's sure built kinda like a wrestler. Anyways, it would be exciting.

Maybe we'll see the 52 hand blocks that people say he learned in prison. That's definately got many grappling elements.

I don't know though, I've heard 52 is designed with all those special 'prison circumstances' in mind, i.e. fighting cuffed, using the walls (i.e. to push off for a punch), bars, and beds, shank attack/defense, multiples, etc. Plus, most of the time it would probably be designed to kill or maim... Seems like it would be hard for him to extract something from that for use in a ring.
Then again, it would be neat as hell to see him bust out with some completely unconventional, unexpected grappling move and transition into the gnp from there.
