My brother owns a really cool video store in L.A. and is considering giving me a budget to create a fight section. Thing is, I'm not sure where to go to buy this stuff and also need recomendations. Probably gonna start with classic boxing matches but will be free to include anything I think will rent. (or maybe just anything I've always wanted to see but didn't have the money to buy myself)
Not instructional stuff, I want to see FIGHTS!!!
come on, i gotta plug his store at least once: www.cinefilevideo.com

check out some UFC and Pride FC videos, some of the best fight ever there. ALso you might liek to get soem of those street fight "caught on camera" videos, but those fight are usually terrible anyway.
The MMA ones are top class - and UFC is getting more popluar now, but not by that much...

check this site out: nhbfights.com he sells tapes cheap.
make sure you get unedited tapes as well (all camera angles etc) , and check out some stuff directly from brazil(they have 100's in the video stores there).

I've already got probably more boxing on my list than I can get all at once anyways. For the NHB stuff, are there any particularly good fights? I've never seen anything more than online clips and a couple UFC's. Judo? Sumo? I've seen some Thai boxing tapes that looked pretty good, but I'd be just picking at random with those as mush as the NHB stuff?
btw, thanks thanks for the site recomendation.

Normally, I'd say I was grappling, but I was taking down and mounting people, and JFS has kindly informed us that takedowns and being mounted are neither grappling nor anti grappling, so I'm not sure what the **** I was doing. Maybe schroedinger's sparring, where it's neither grappling nor anti-grappling until somoene observes it and collapses the waveform, and then I RNC a cat to death.----fatherdog
