    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Slightly old news but I had to be sure they posted it online.....
This was inspired by the time I came home from martial arts and my knuckles was all bruised up from the bag and people's bodies. :)
I looked at my right knuckle, hey that one is purple, that one is blue, and that one is red. Rather pleasent and interesting how the art is expressed through the body in it's blending of bruises so close to each other......

    Contuse
Contemplate the beauty in the shade
    Of a bruise.
    Lifeblood arises to the surface,
Mingling of red and purple hues.

    Vivid stains of red remain.
    Allowing all to see,
    This violation of the capillaries.
    Seems juxtaposed with
    The dullness that purple gives.
Each one unique in it mystery.
    Minor transfusion of the mind.

    Dark discolouration under the skin,
    Analogy to thoughts within.
    A memory of pain,
    As it slowly fades.
