    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Does anyone know anything about Frank Cucci and his LINXX program (I love the names people come up with)?

It is purported to be a "linking" of mt, bjj, fma stickfighting and jkd (why jkd needs the linking is of interest to me). Does anyone have any first, or barring that second hand info on this program?

I have my own suspicions, though they may be due to an allergy to the type of marketing employed, about the program and the school teaching his program (which seems to have... mcdojoish tendencies).

Cucci is purported to have trained under: Dan Inosanto, Pedro Sauer, and Rickson Gracie among others. Do instructors in this course simply take a short seminar series or what?

    Preemptive responses to faq's:
Jamoke, of course before I would make a decision on whether or not to attend said school I would check it out first.
Others, the search feature pulled up no hits for linxx in the gd and I've been here long enough to say STFU n00bs.
Dues, omega and AnthonyA, Kimura Wastrel a few times for me (he really, really likes it).

    Okay Dochter not a problem.

Yeah why would they need to link everything to JKD. Isn't JKD already considered "linked".

Ah well if it works all power to him.

Don't know anything about it either, but yeah, what's up with "linking" JKD? That's like linking Air with Oxygen to get... Air.

Sounds like he is trying to put a trademark on his MMA classes to make some money.

    Nothing wrong with that really.

In and of itself, no. My questions for it arise because it is being marketed as a self-defense program which is being franchised to existing MA schools.

A school in the area I am moving to has the program. I like the idea of taking mt, bjj and some escrima (forgot to mention that) together but it is being taught at a tkd place, by the tkd owner. Again there is nothing inherently wrong with that. All these things together make me wonder a bit though. What I am curious about is if all they are required to do is take a couple of seminars, or whether they actually are well trained in these arts. Additionally there ar contract requirements, purchasing requirement and other "warning signs". It is also being taught at a school with a black belt club. Hence my suspicion.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with the program?
